tagR.tv - Tagging Coded Cultures
Using the umbr.ella, a DSLR or just a mobile phone, whenever tagR. tv enters a festival, documentation as such becomes an experiment, or even an intervention. tagR.tv is not a common journalistic online medium, and it isn’t organized as a structured, permanent team, it is more of a platform on which media artists and students gather temporarily as a group, to document, to make a portrait and to comment, whatever appears interesting, inspiring or even disillusioning to us in the extended field of new media art.
With our mobile interview studio – umbr.ella - we invite artists or curators to chat and walk with us through an exhibition, around their work or any other places we enjoy for talking.
And when in the autumn of 2011 Vienna - tagR.tv’s homebase - turns into an interface for media art, it’s time for tagR.tv to regroup and “tagR” CODED CULTURES.
