The “protected” and well-known exhibition spaces are abandoned and the city as a whole is understood as a playing field - a place for projects, artistic interventions and urban new media arts. Discoursive city walks with experts in science, arts and everyday life” explores the venues and locations of the festival, as well as its surroundings with “walking as a method”.

The Coded Cultures Info Point is right in front of the Badeschiff. Some call it "Susi Haus", while its actual name is Festland Bar. Visitors as well as participants of the Coded Cultures Festival can get up-to-date information on the current programme, as well as Coded Cultures materials: Booklet, Poster, Passes and merchandise, among background information. The space also serves as a meeting point for guidances and the Fokustag Donaukanal (22.9.2011).

§P¡NdLe is a [project|object] that [combines|confuses] skateboarding with music. The [movement/acceleration] of the skateboard is being transformed into sound synthesis. The sound engine is designed to be both, trivial and non-trivial. The [trivial|direct] translation acts as an additional channel to your mind-body coordination while the non-trivial aspect is there to provide the board with a [memory| internal states] of your ride. It will add up to a climax as long as the movement of the skateboard does not contain too much noise.
The Electromagnetic (EM) wave is a carrier medium. It provides us with long range communication and is the base transporting layer of modern communication. But it is also masqueraded: although we use it often, we access it using tools provided to us by the co- operation of our choice, which brings up another point of EM waves. I would describe it as a territory. Frequency ranges are licensed to "providers" and national borders are marked by messages informing us of the transition to one of their "roaming" partners.
